That's right -- the Terre Haute underground scene finally has a home -- albeit under construction at the moment. Hopefully by the beginning of the summer I'll have this bad boy up and running in it's full glory.
Anyway, I've been doing some video and photo sessions with some skaters this past fall and this spring. Things have been going pretty well. I have a couple of bands already signed on this project with pictures and MP3s that will be available for download.
Anyway -- this all leads me to THIS --
If you are in a band (punk, hardcore, heavy, even HIP-HOP!, you know, blah blah blah blah {insert stupid classification here}) and you want to be on here FREE of charge, send an email to the address below and I'll give you whatever info you need. Basically I need pictures, a CD, tape or MP3 of any song(s) that you may want on the site, some dates and a short band bio. If you don't have any pictures --- don't fret, I can take the pictures at a location of your choice for the price of film and developing.
If you are a skater or BMXer, (if you're a fruit-booter, you better be a TOTAL bad-ass) and you want to be on the site -- same goes for you. Hit me off with an email and we'll talk turkey. Once again, being on the site is FREE of charge. I would definitely be interested in coming to your session to take videos and pictures, or we can set up a session specifically for that purpose.
Anyway, if I get enough footage to make a decent-sized video, all riders featured in the video get a copy of it FREE OF CHARGE. You can flaunt it to your friends, use it as a "sponsor-me" video, use it as a bookend, whatever the hell you feel neccessary.
So -- hopefully this thing will go off without a hitch and will be used as a forum to promote local bands, give "EXTREME" (sic) atheletes a place to hang out, and hopefully parlay into something else.
